WHAT HAPPENS?

With a reduction in government funding and grants available for small businesses, we aim to fill a gap in this area in the county. As well as delivering a unique support pathway for business enabling them to develop sustainable growth, Oxfordshire SOUP serves as a networking event with a purpose.
Come along, pay a fee, have a bite to eat, listen to a few businesses pitch, then vote. It couldn’t’ be simpler. The business with the most votes receives all the money taken at the door, plus additional corporate donations and support package.

CAN I PITCH?

All businesses wishing to pitch must go through a selection process where your entry will be reviewed by an independent judging panel. Entry to pitch is free and is open to businesses under 3 years old, with under £70k turnover and no more than 3 employees. Each business selected to pitch will undoubtedly receive fantastic exposure for their business and make new connections in the process.

The winning business will take home all the money taken at the door. As well as financial aid, we wholeheartedly believe businesses need well-rounded support to help them grow, therefore the winning business will be offered a support package consisting of: x1 strategic Marketing Session with Creating Sense and x1 1-2-1 Mentoring Session with The Learning Ladder.

The only thing we ask of our winner is that they will come back three months later to report on their progress.
